New content
When can we expect some more content, noticed nothing has been put in the calender etc.
On a more positive note the quality on the content you have so far is excellent.

Inappropriate?Mastering Linq is coming out today and a new jQuery episode should be out early next week. Rob has a new series in the works too that should be out soon. The Calendar should be updated soon with some new goodies.

Inappropriate?Hi Chriss - I'm prepping/finishing a complete series on building my blog in Rails, we're pushing a new Linq series this week, and James is putting together the next jQuery.
I'll be recording nHib with Oren next week as well, and the ASP.NET MVC series will get 2 drops next week (I hope).
I've been wanting to update the calendar but I've been focusing on finishing the rails blog... -
When you do update the calendar, be more "skeptical" on the dates. I would rather see a new video early, then see that you are behind. Also, is it possible to say how often a new entry will be available? Like once a week, or 2 a month, etc. Just a thought.. Keep up the great work. -
Rob said once in a blog entry following :
My goal is to get new stuff out once a week or so. This depends on author’s scheduling (such as right now, Ayende is traveling so it’s hard to get time together to do another episode. He’s also 12 hours ahead of me (timezones) – the only thing that works is to carve out time on a Sunday – tomorrow. We have an RSS feed for episodes so you can subscribe and know when new stuff hits.
James and I are committed to regular drops and updates, but we absolutely will *not* bend on the quality of it – and that makes us bottlenecks. Good bottlenecks though :). Hopefully we’ll have the ability to involve others in the future – we’ll see how it goes.

Inappropriate?Hi Michael - I understand your thoughts and thank you. The problem here is that our calendar is always tentative. Things change, I get demanding, people are away so I might suggest that it would be better not to see each date as set in stone. In other words we're not "behind" - It's usually me being a complete stickler and wanting more, driving our authors absolutely nuts.
Given that, I'll be sure to use "tentative" in front of every date to make it more clear.
And no, it's not really possible to give a rate of drops. I wish I could - the problem is that each new episode needs to be completely checked for every detail. This week I'll drop 8 of em, as well as a new linq episode - that's 9 new episodes. Last week we dropped 2. These are all due to how well our production is going.
One last thought on the calendar - I do my best to be as accurate as I can. It would be nice to "set expectations down" but that's not terribly fair of me :).

Inappropriate?the rate of publication on the mvc 2.0 series is just unacceptable. perhaps you should concentrate on this as there is no professionally published available content on mvc 2.0 as yet, yet there is a zillion and two things of stuff like linq & jquery etc... the linq in .net 3.5 videos by AppDev are already being "shared" on torrent sites everywhere. your content is excellect but people really can't wait this long to learn a series especially at the rate languages & versions move these days.
ps: i enphasize your content really is EXCELLENT!!
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hi Chriss - I'm happy to refund your money if you're unhappy and I do appreciate the kind words RE our content.
The issue is that Stephen works at a pace, as do I, and the content you see is the result of our doing it right. That takes time.
The next episode should be along next week. Let me know if you'd like a refund. -
Hi Rob - I have a feeling that post wasn't for me, I'm more than happy with the content, and feel that tekpub is excellent value for money. I actually have another post in the problem section that I wait patiently for a response too. -
Inappropriate?Oops - sorry :) operator fail...

rob,
Where does one find the calendar for the upcoming videos? -
We have dropped the calendar for the time being, we are working on a new solution. -
So, can you tell us what are some of the new series that will posted? -
Not yet, I don't like to mention it until we have the first episode done since sometimes things fall through.
