Series on windbg
I would love to see a series on windbg - it is something that most devs have a very limited knowledge of but could benefit greatly from both in terms of general debugging and debugging ugly (read: memory leak) issues in production.

Inappropriate?Heck, I could use this screencast myself. Do you know of an expert in the topic we could try contacting?

Inappropriate?Hi James, I would LOVE to watch anything with Tess Ferrandez or Roberto Farah. They consistently post great stuff on the topic.
I’m excited

Inappropriate?Excellent, I will try both of them and see if they are interested.

Inappropriate?I'll second that.. I saw Tess on a Hanselminutes and thought she really knew her stuff. I have absolutely no idea how windbg works and it's so bloody complicated. I also would love to see a series on how to do this, and avoid the cost $$$ of having to buy .NET memory profilers.
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?+1 for Tess Fernandez, she really knows about that stuff. There is a video on Channel 9 about Crash Dump debugging: http://channel9.msdn.com/posts/Glucos...
Also, she speaks clear and easy to understand English, which is something important for me as a non-native english speaker.

Inappropriate?+1 windbg often saves me at the customer if something wents wrong. But I dont have a lot of knowledge about it.
Great request!

Inappropriate?+1.0000 :)
What about a screencast who is dealing with debugging in general ? There are a bunch of books outthere but only a few about debugging itself.
I know "Debuggin by thinking" and a friend of mine recommend me the book "Debug it" havent read it yet but its an essential topic :D
I’m excited

Inappropriate? In addition to Tess, I recommend John Robbins. He's a dynamic and experienced presenter, and does many virtual training sessions (so he's familiar with the medium). And he's a freaking debugging god.

Inappropriate?i would love to see this series. there is one on pluralsight http://www.pluralsight.com/main/olt/h...
but that left me hungry wanting for more since it demonstrated only limited commands. Maybe you can hook up with Mike woodring as well.
